About GPF

Global Policy Forum independently monitors the United Nations as the primary seat of multilateral policymaking. GPF promotes accountability and civil society participation in international decisions on social and economic justice, sustainability, human rights and global governance.

Established in 1993 and based at UN headquarters in New York, GPF has a well-respected track record of monitoring, research and reporting. It primarily engages at UN headquarters as the forum where almost all governments, large and small, convene to address the full spectrum of issues affecting countries today.

GPF contributes to discourse at the United Nations and within civil society networks through publications, briefings, webinars, presentations, convenings and internships for graduate students. Active collaboration with civil society networks, particularly from the Global South, includes programme partnerships, capacity development and training, and analytical support.

Global Policy Forum is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with special consultative status with UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and a US-registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organisation.
