Global Policy Watch (GPW) is a joint initiative of Social Watch and Global Policy Forum. It was launched in 2015 in order to follow negotiations at the United Nations towards the Third International Conference on Financing for Development in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and the Post-2015 Summit of the United Nations in New York, as well as their implementation and follow-up processes.Global Policy Watch aims to keep members of global civil society informed about crucial global negotiations. GPW explores opportunities for participation and lays the basis for a strong presence of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the monitoring and review processes of the Addis Ababa Action Agenda, Paris Climate Agreement, and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and others.
