The CSO Strategy Meeting in Bonn brought together a wealth of expertise and experience – from the Least Developed Countries (LDCs), those working in solidarity with LDCs, and those studying the impact of a whole range of issues and multilateral challenges on LDCs. This is neither the beginning, as many of us have been working together for a while, nor the end of our collective endeavour.
Over the course of two days, we focused on developing strategies as we head for the LDC5 Conference in Doha next year, 5 – 9 March 2023, and as we sharpen our demands on the many multilateral policy processes that greatly impact the LDCs but do not listen enough to the LDCs.
The following report does not intend to reduce the discussion to a common view or position of participants, but rather capture key insights and points from the participants covering the full range of policy spaces and that will shape the debates of the CSO Forum during the Doha Summit on LDCs – and beyond.
